In-the-know employers know there's no longer a single definition of retirement. And its not just because their employees living longer, healthier lives. Economic uncertainty, changing value systems and a reconfigured workforce have us rethinking not just how we'll retire, but how we'll live the second half of our lives. For individuals, organizations and employers, the implications are profound.
Reimagining Retirement is a program designed to give organizations, employers and individuals a new lens for viewing retirement--one that stretches beyond the traditional retirement as withdrawing from the workforce, to one that makes possible engaging with the world in exciting and fulfilling ways.
The shift into retirement effects every part of our lives, stirring feelings of vulnerability, fear and anxiety as we face life without the social connections, sense of purpose and belonging found in the workplace. In this state of flux, we unconsciously start an internal dialogue about survival, mortality, how we define ourselves, and our purpose.

It is offered with the intention of creating a place for loyal employees to share dreams and concerns about what lies ahead, while creating a new sense of community, importance and vibrancy among those who have given so much.
